Xebia is seeking a Data Analyst to join its EU-focused data team. You will analyze large datasets related to customer behavior and marketing campaigns, and develop analytical datasets using SQL and PySpark to drive insights across business performance.

The role requires translating business questions into data-driven insights, ensuring data quality, and collaborating with marketing analysts and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment. Fluency in Polish and English is expected.

Formación

• 3+ years as Data Analyst, Analytics Engineer, or similar data-focused role.
• Advanced SQL skills including joins, CTEs, window functions.

Responsabilidades

• Analyze large datasets related to customer behavior and business performance.
• Design, develop, and maintain analytical datasets using SQL and PySpark.
• Prepare and transform data from multiple sources for reporting and analytics.
• Collaborate with marketing analysts, business stakeholders, and data teams.
• Support campaign measurement, segmentation, funnel analysis, retention, churn, and ROI calculations.
• Ensure data quality and consistency across outputs.
• Investigate data issues and identify process improvements.
• Contribute to optimizing data models and processing workflows.
• Support ad hoc analytical requests from stakeholders.

You will be:

• analyzing large datasets related to customer behavior, digital marketing campaigns, and business performance,
• designing, developing, and maintaining analytical datasets using SQL and PySpark,
• preparing and transforming data from multiple sources for reporting and advanced analytics purposes,
• collaborating closely with marketing analysts, business stakeholders, and data teams,
• supporting campaign measurement, customer segmentation, funnel analysis, retention, churn, and ROI calculations,,
• ensuring data quality, consistency, and reliability across analytical outputs,
• investigating data issues and proactively identify opportunities for process improvement,
• contributing to optimizing data models and data processing workflows,
• supporting ad hoc analytical requests from business stakeholders.

Your profile:

• 3+ years of experience as Data Analyst, Analytics Engineer, or in a similar data-focused role,
• advanced SQL skills, including: complex joins, CTEs, window functions, query optimization,
• hands-on experience with PySpark,
• experience working with large-scale datasets,
• strong analytical and problem-solving skills,
• experience translating business questions into data-driven insights,
• ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment,
• fluent Polish and English.

Work from the European Union region and a work permit are required.

Nice to have:

• experience in digital marketing analytics,
• experience analyzing: customer acquisition, customer retention, campaign performance, funnel conversion, customer lifetime value (LTV),
• experience with Databricks,
• experience with Delta Lake or modern lakehouse architectures,
• understanding of data modeling concepts,
• familiarity with Power BI,
• experience working in agile teams.
