Job summary

Gerdau North America is seeking a data-driven Data Scientist/Analyst to join our Supply Chain team in Tampa. You will leverage data to improve timely business decisions and implement AI solutions across Sales and Operations Planning, Fulfillment, and Logistics.

You will collect and analyze large datasets, build models, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and develop dashboards that provide real-time visibility into key performance metrics and opportunities for optimization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in data science, Computer Science, Statistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Data Scientist or Data Analyst, preferably in a supply chain or logistics environment.
• Strong proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages like Python, R, SQL, and data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.
• Experience with machine learning algorithms, AI frameworks, and statistical modeling techniques.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work with complex datasets to derive meaningful insights.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
