Position Summary

As a Data Analyst, you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining data sets for analysis and visualization. You will be responsible for ensuring that internal and external stakeholders have access to accurate reporting metrics in a timely manner.

This role involves collecting, cleaning, and interpreting large datasets to uncover trends, patterns, and opportunities for optimization across various departments. The ideal candidate is proficient in SQL, Google Sheets, and data visualization tools. As a key collaborator, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver reports and dashboards that align with strategic goals. Your ability to tell a story with data will be essential in supporting informed decisions and continuous improvement efforts.

Essential Functions
  • Data collection and cleaning: Gather raw marketing data from platforms like Google Analytics, Meta, LinkedIn, and CRM systems, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Campaign performance analysis: Evaluate digital campaign results to identify trends, successes, and areas for improvement.
  • Dashboard and report creation: Build and maintain dashboards and recurring reports that visualize KPIs and client metrics.
  • Collaboration with teams: Partner with account managers and strategists to support client reporting needs and ad‑hoc data requests.
  • Marketing tool proficiency: Learn and apply analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Looker Studio, and Excel/Google Sheets.
  • Data storytelling: Translate complex data findings into simple, insightful summaries for internal teams and client presentations.

Knowledge and Skills

To perform this job successfully, an individual must meet the minimum qualifications listed below. These qualifications are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required to perform this job:

  • Proficiency in SQL and data warehousing.
  • Knowledge of cloud computing and data processing.
  • Strong analytical capabilities and curious mindset.
  • Knowledge of data science practices and concepts.
  • Familiarity with database technologies, ETL/ELT processes, and automation tools.
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or related degree related to computer science, mathematics, marketing, or any other quantitative field.
  • Preferred:
  • 1+ years of experience writing queries
  • 1+ years of reporting experience
Certificates and/or licenses

Certifications in the following practices are a plus:

  • SQL and Database Management
  • Cloud Computing Certifications such as GCP
  • ETL Tools
  • Programming Certifications such as Python
  • Data Warehousing Certifications
  • Machine Learning Certifications
Physical Requirements
  • Essential functions require sufficient physical ability to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time and operate office equipment requiring repetitive hand movement and fine motor coordination including the use of a computer keyboard.
