Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in data science, engineering, CS, or related field.
• 2+ years of professional experience in technical products, preferably data analytics.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and advanced query writing.
• Understanding of relational and non-relational databases.
• Experience with Data Warehouses and ETL processes.
• Experience with Sigma and Snowflake preferred.

Job Summary:

As a Data Analyst, you will play a critical role in extracting, analyzing, and presenting data to support informed decision-making and drive business growth. This position requires a strong analytical mindset, advanced technical skills, and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with various departments, contribute to the development of reports and dashboards, and produce AI-powered data products. Duties/Responsibilities:

Design and develop reports, dashboards, and visualizations that effectively communicate data-driven insights to stakeholders, including executives, department heads, and operational teams

Collect, organize, and analyze large datasets from multiple sources to identify trends, patterns, and key performance indicators (KPIs). Utilize advanced data manipulation and visualization techniques to extract meaningful insights

Conduct ad-hoc analyses to answer specific business questions or support strategic initiatives as requested by management

Create visually engaging and informative data visualizations using modern tools like Sigma or other data visualization platforms

Continuously seek opportunities to automate and streamline reporting processes, reducing manual effort and improving efficiency

Contribute to data quality, data modeling, and documentation efforts that make data trustworthy and accessible across the company

Required Skills/Abilities:

Strong knowledge of SQL and advanced query writing

Strong understanding of relational and non-relational databases

Firm understanding of Data Warehouses, ETL Processes, and the methodologies behind them

Intermediate level skill working with Excel and Google Sheets

Comfort using AI tools in an analytics workflow, with the judgment to validate all AI-generated output against source data and business logic

2+ years of professional experience in technical products, preferably with a background in Data Analytics

Demonstrated ability to create and manage clear documentation

Bachelor’s degree or higher in data science, engineering, computer science, or another related field

Preferred Skills/Abilities:

Experience in the logistics/transportation industry

Experience working with Sigma and Snowflake
