Job summary

Cisco Systems in San Jose, CA is seeking a data analytics professional to drive end-to-end analytics and reporting for the Market Access organization within CSO. You will partner with stakeholders to design scalable analytics, develop dashboards, and surface actionable insights to inform strategic decisions.

The role requires 2+ years in analytics, strong SQL and BI tool experience (Tableau, Power BI), and Python for data analysis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field (or Master’s degree with 0–2 years of experience, or equivalent practical experience).
• 2+ years of professional experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or a related analytical role.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience building dashboards, reports, and data visualizations using Tableau, Power BI, or similar BI tools.
• 2+ years of experience writing SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze data from relational databases or cloud data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, SAP HANA, Oracle).
• Experience using Python for data analysis, scripting, or automated data transformation.

• Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills with high attention to data accuracy.

Compensation

• Base salary: USD 101,900 - 150,900 per yearly
• U.S. and/or Canada note: Starting salary range posted for new hires in this position in U.S. and/or Canada locations is $116,300.00 to $150,900.00, excluding incentive compensation, equity, or benefits.
• State-specific full salary ranges:
  • New York City Metro Area: $116,300.00 - $173,500.00
  • Non-Metro New York state & Washington state: $101,900.00 - $154,400.00

Additional Compensation (Quota-based Incentive Pay)

• .75% of incentive target for each 1% of revenue attainment up to 50% of quota
• 1.5% of incentive target for each 1% of attainment between 50% and 75%
• 1% of incentive target for each 1% of attainment between 75% and 100%
• Once performance exceeds 100% attainment, incentive rates are at or above 1% for each 1% of attainment with no cap on incentive compensation
