Job Summary:

This Analyst role involves hybrid work with some in‑office meetings, focusing on data management, analysis, and reporting within a state agency. The position requires expertise in data systems, statistical analysis, and project management to support effective data acquisition, quality control, and application in compliance with relevant laws and policies.

Responsibilities: Required Skills & Certifications:

• Proficiency in SQL, Tableau, SAS, R, Excel, and Visio.
• Experience with data management software including OnBase and FOCUS.
• Strong statistical analysis and computational evaluation skills.
• Excellent organizational, oral, and written communication skills.
• Ability to interpret and write statistical reports and develop data presentations.
• Knowledge of applicable laws, rules, and policies regarding data security and privacy.
• Capacity to analyze large complex data sets and identify trends.

Preferred Skills & Certifications:

• Experience with IT lifecycle management and preventative disease surveillance systems.
• Familiarity with project management disciplines and techniques.
• Skills in creating graphs, longitudinal flowcharts, and workflow analysis.
• Experience providing technical support and maintaining interpersonal relationships with stakeholders.
