You will use BI data guidance, modeling, and reporting to help teams turn complex information into decisions. Strong data visualization, DoD data science experience, and a secret clearance are required.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of DoD or DON data science experience.
• Experience with data visualization and creating visual data stories.
• Experience leading data product discussions with executive leadership.
• Highly organized, able to multi-task and respond quickly to urgent requests.
• Secret clearance is required for access to classified information.
• Bachelor’s degree required.

You will help teams turn complex information into decisions with BI data guidance, modeling, and clear reporting. How you’ll support mission teams

• Advise on using business intelligence data for predictive analytics and help facilitate the implementation of new tools.
• Administer quantitative and qualitative modeling techniques to data.
• Apply analytical best practices across data collection, aggregation, normalization, and analysis.
• Analyze and process data while contributing to model development and report templates.
• Build dynamic, data-driven solutions using tools such as Python, R, SQL, Power BI, and the Microsoft Office suite.
• Recommend and implement performance measures, including lifts, efficiencies, confidence intervals, and other statistical metrics.
• Provide guidance to fellow team members and deliver detailed, actionable reports to business clients to support decision-making.

What you bring

• 1+ years of experience in DoD or DON Data Science, including advanced analytics or data mining.
• Experience with data visualization and the ability to create compelling visual representations of data.
• Experience leading discussions about data products, sources, and projects with executive leadership.
• Ability to be organized, multi-task, and respond quickly to urgent requests.
• Secret clearance is required. Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
• Bachelor’s degree.
