Job summary

Landing Point, a rapidly growing specialty finance company, is seeking a Data Analyst to strengthen its KRI and KPI framework. You will collaborate with Risk, Finance, Operations, Compliance, and senior leadership to ensure consistent metric management and clear reporting.

You will design automated dashboards in Power BI/Tableau, write SQL queries and Python scripts, and translate complex data into concise narratives for board-level audiences. DOE-driven compensation is offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in math, stats, economics, finance, CS or engineering.
• 2–4+ years in data analytics, BI, or risk reporting.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain KRI/KPI frameworks.
• Establish thresholds and tolerances for indicators.
• Maintain centralized KRI/KPI inventory with data sources and methodologies.
• Develop automated reporting pipelines and dashboards (Power BI/Tableau).

A rapidly growing specialty finance company with a global presence is seeking a Data Analyst to enhance its Key Risk Indicator (KRI) and Key Performance Indicator (KPI) framework. The role involves collaboration with Risk, Finance, Operations, Compliance, and senior leadership to ensure effective metric management.

Job Responsibilities

• Design and maintain KRI/KPI frameworks in alignment with business objectives and risk appetite.
• Establish threshold and tolerance levels for indicators, ensuring alignment with the firm's risk framework.
• Maintain a centralized KRI/KPI inventory, including data sources and calculation methodologies.
• Conduct periodic reviews of indicators for relevance and data quality.
• Design and develop automated reporting pipelines and dashboards using tools like Power BI and Tableau.
• Write and maintain SQL queries and Python scripts for data extraction and transformation.
• Implement data quality controls to ensure accuracy of reported metrics.
• Prepare KRI/KPI summary packages for risk committee meetings and Board reporting.
• Translate complex data into clear narratives for non-technical audiences.
• Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mathematics, statistics, economics, finance, computer science, or engineering.
• 2–4+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or risk reporting.
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with Python for data analysis.
• Experience with business intelligence tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
• Familiarity with risk management concepts is a strong plus.

Compensation

Pay Rate: $50 - $60/hr, DOE
