Job summary

Guidehouse India is seeking a data-focused professional to support MIS reporting and backend PMO activities. You will develop advanced Excel-based reports, manage timesheets and invoices, and drive data quality across multiple sources.

The role emphasizes automation with VBA and Power Query, plus dashboard development with Power BI. Strong analytical ability and clear stakeholder communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in science, business, IT, analytics or related field.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in data analysis, MIS reporting or backend PMO activities.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to translate data into insights.
• Advanced MS Excel skills including Power Pivot, Power Query and macros.
• Working knowledge of PowerBI and VBA for automation.

What You Will Do

• Understand high-level client requirements, break them down into detailed tasks, and collaborate with the team to define solutions; provide recommendations based on qualitative and quantitative analysis
• Contribute & Manage backend PMO activities (Timesheet Management, Invoice Oversight, SubK & Roster Management, Laptop/Resource Management, Expenses, EDSP & other Compliance Requirements), including project documentation, governance, and compliance tracking
• Develop and maintain advanced reports and dashboards using MS Excel and excellent exposure to MIS Reporting and Analysis
• Perform internal data analysis and quality checks; interpret results and communicate findings to business stakeholder
• Support process automation initiatives using VBA & Macros, and Data Modelling & Transformation using Power Pivot and Power Query
• Transcribe and report collected information into client-ready formats with accuracy and timeliness
• Design and implement technology best practices, guidelines, and repeatable processes for reporting and automation
• Work independently with low to moderate supervision while ensuring deadlines and accuracy of deliverables are consistently met

What You Will Need

• Must have a bachelor’s degree in science, business, IT, Analytics, or related field
• Must have minimum 1 year of experience in data analysis, MIS Reporting & Analysis, or backend PMO activities
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills with the ability to interpret data from multiple sources and deliver actionable insights
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel (Power Pivot, Power Query, formulas, macros) and solid knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Working knowledge of PowerBI for dashboard creation and VBA for Process Automation
• Excellent communication skills to interact with stakeholders at different levels and present clear, data-driven recommendations
• Ability to anticipate potential issues, troubleshoot problems, and develop effective solutions proactively
