About the Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytically driven Data Analyst to support our Risk Management Services team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering actionable insights through performance reporting, workflow optimization, and data-driven decision-making. A key differentiator for this position is hands-on experience building and deploying AI Agents to automate repetitive analytical workflows and surface intelligent recommendations, enabling the team to operate faster and smarter. The ideal candidate will have strong data and analytical skills, including advanced SQL capabilities and experience with Power BI or comparable business intelligence and reporting tools.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Monthly Performance Reporting
  • Deliver individual monthly performance reports to Senior Management, benchmarking results against Turnaround SLA targets.
  • Identify patterns, gaps, and actionable areas for improvement from report findings.
  • Develop and maintain data queries, reporting logic, and analytical outputs using SQL to ensure accurate and reliable reporting.
  • Build and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports to provide clear visibility into performance trends and key metrics.
  • Automate recurring report generation using AI Agent pipelines, scripted workflows, or other automation solutions to ensure timely and consistent delivery.
  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure integration of LC360 data into the PCS Data Warehouse, enabling improved data accessibility, reporting consistency, and analytics capabilities.
2. Inspection Process Improvement
  • Collaborate closely with the Platinum team to reassess, cancel, and reschedule inspections to ensure timely execution.
  • Proactively monitor inspection queues to flag and prevent missed inspections before SLA thresholds are breached.
  • Leverage SQL-based analysis, data models, and AI-assisted scheduling logic to identify trends and recommend optimal inspection sequencing.
  • Analyze workflow and inspection data to identify opportunities to improve efficiency and adherence to SLAs.
3. Inspection Optimization Model
  • Develop and maintain an inspection optimization model that leverages historical inspection, property, policy, claims, and risk data to determine the appropriate level and type of inspection needed.
  • Analyze key risk indicators and historical outcomes to identify patterns and factors that influence inspection requirements and risk severity.
  • Use SQL, Power BI, and other analytical tools to prepare, analyze, and visualize data supporting inspection-level recommendations.
  • Partner with stakeholders to define business rules, data inputs, and criteria for determining the appropriate inspection level.
  • Evaluate model recommendations against historical inspection results and business outcomes to identify opportunities for improved accuracy and efficiency.
  • Continuously refine the model as additional data becomes available, incorporating feedback and performance results to improve recommendations over time.
4. Platinum Accounts Table Maintenance
  • Perform monthly updates to the Platinum Accounts Table, including adding new accounts and removing lower premium accounts.
  • Redistribute accounts across Directors to balance workloads and ensure equitable coverage.
  • Maintain data integrity and version history of account table changes for auditing purposes.
Required Skills, Knowledge, and Education
  • 3–7 years of experience in data analytics, insurance, risk analytics, or a related field.
  • Strong SQL skills with experience querying, analyzing, and manipulating data.
  • Power BI experience strongly preferred; experience with Tableau or other BI/reporting tools is a plus.
  • Experience developing data-driven models, analytical frameworks, or decision-support tools to support business decisions and optimize workflows.
