Job description

The Learning and Evaluation team supports program teams in strategy development and refinement, evaluation, and organizational learning to advance the Foundation's priorities and maximize impact.

Reporting to the Director of Learning and Evaluation and working closely with the Learning Officer as well as Grants Management and Operations teams, the Data Analyst will support work across the Barr Foundation in the areas of data management, data integrity, data analysis, data visualization, and helping to make meaning around Barr’s grantmaking overall. This role is envisioned for an early career professional who is motivated to join colleagues dedicated to using their talents to improve the world. The ideal candidate will have a passion for clean and organized data and will also be excited to partner with a wide range of stakeholders, not just data enthusiasts. The Data Analyst will help build our team’s capacity to support and promote Barr’s deepening commitment to racial equity across all program areas. In addition, the Data Analyst will help organize and participate in Foundation-wide learning sessions about the arts, education, and climate fields as well as grantmaking practices and diversity, equity, and inclusion.
