Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience in data analysis or data management.
• Experience supporting DoD or USAF organizations.
• Active DoD Secret Clearance required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; experience may substitute.
• Strong BI tool proficiency (Qlik Sense, Power BI, or Tableau).
• Proficient in Excel, SQL, Python for data automation.
• Cloud experience with Microsoft Azure.
• Ability to brief leadership and present findings.

Responsibilities

• Improve and implement air force acquisition data/analysis capability.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and analytical apps using Qlik Sense.
• Collect, clean, and validate supplier and company data from multiple sources.
• Maintain structured data sets to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
• Develop and maintain SQL queries, stored procedures, and DB objects.
• Administer a Microsoft Azure hosted SQL Server environment.
• Perform advanced data analysis using Excel (pivot tables, Power Query, formulas, automation).
• General Data manipulation, automation, and exploratory analysis.
• Generate recurring and ad hoc reports to support operational and strategic decisions.
• Identify data discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define reporting requirements and deliver actionable insights.

Job description

This position is responsible for the collection, validation, storage, processing, and analysis of supplier and company data in support of United States Air Force operational and strategic decision-making. This position plays a critical role in ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and availability to support supply chain, contracting, and organizational leadership requirements.

The analyst transforms raw supplier data into actionable insights through data modeling, reporting, and visualization tools. The role requires strong analytical capability, database management experience, and proficiency in business intelligence platforms.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting DoD or USAF organizations, knowledge of supplier or supply chain data management.
• Proficiency in Qlik Sense or another similar Business intelligence tool like Power BI or Tableau, alongside experience with Excel, SQL (DB management) Python (Pandas, data automation).
• Familiarity with cloud-based data environments (Microsoft Azure).
• Experience briefing leadership and presenting findings, as well as implementing and exploring strategies to improve capability.
• 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Must have an ACTIVE DoD Secret Clearance
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred but expereince may be used in lieu of degree.
