Job summary

Alpha Omega Integration in Arlington, VA is seeking a Data Analyst for a long-term Federal project supporting the 287(g) program. Hybrid work arrangement with on-site presence required.

You will manage Power Automate workflows, convert PDF forms to JSON via Python, perform daily data quality audits, ensure PII/CUI security, and produce operational dashboards with Tableau and Excel. DHS background check required; US citizen.

Responsibilities

Alpha Omega Integration is seeking a Data Analyst for a long-term Federal project supporting the 287(g) program in Arlington, VA (hybrid).

Responsibilities

• Oversee and maintain Power Automate workflows for inbox monitoring, PDF staging, and automated record creation.
• Use Python-based extraction to convert raw PDF forms into standardized JSON records and normalize field mapping for ingestion.
• Run daily data quality audits to reconcile discrepancies between system records and troubleshoot JSON ingestion failures.
• Maintain source of truth consistency with a focus on accuracy in a regulated environment.
• Initiate and submit background investigation packets for 287(g) programs.
• Verify documents for completeness and signature validity.
• Apply strict PII/CUI security standards, including password-protected file handling and secure transmission of initiation packets.
• Maintain process visibility using Tableau and tracking tools; flag stale cases or clearance blockers to federal leads.
• Monitor training mailboxes, validate course eligibility, and execute Pass/Fail updates in SharePoint.
• Execute manual and automated shipping batches.
• Generate, attach, and distribute G-570/G-504 documents; track receipt/verification status to close out credentialing loops.
• Act as primary point of contact for external agencies on training access, login errors, and enrollment status, following standardized escalation/response SOPs.
• Produce recurring and ad-hoc reports using Excel datasets and cross-functional trackers.
• Maintain SOPs, tracking tables, and SharePoint repository structures; ensure program communications and work products are logged for transition continuity and institutional knowledge retention.

Requirements

• Advanced working knowledge of Power Automate (cloud flows, triggers, conditional logic) and Python (data extraction/parsing/JSON).
• Proficiency in SharePoint (list management, complex folder structures) and Tableau (data visualization and status reporting).
• Proven experience handling PII and CUI per federal security protocols, including management of password-encrypted document workflows.
• Ability to reconcile data across disparate systems and maintain 100% accuracy in highly regulated environments.
• 2+ years as a Data Analyst.
• Experience collaborating with stakeholders at varied levels.
• Must be able to successfully complete the DHS security and suitability background check.
• Proven ability to use all Microsoft Office tools.
• Excellent customer service, attention to detail, and oral and written communication.
• Must be able to work in a team environment.
• Excellent organizational skills; ability to learn new systems and processes quickly.
• Proven ability to execute in an agile environment.
• Willingness to be hands-on and backfill for team members as needed.
• Active or previous DHS experience highly desired.
• Working knowledge of SAFe methodology (highly desired).
• Proven history of delivering data driven solutions with a customer-first mindset.

Clearance & Work Location

• Clearance required: DHS Public Trust; US Citizen (Secret Clearance or above preferred).
• Work location: Hybrid; onsite 2 days a week minimum, or once a month on-site customer-facing meeting in the National Capital Region (Arlington, VA or Washington, DC).
• Onsite requirement: Applicants must be based within a commutable distance (no more than 2 hours) within the National Capital Region.

Salary

• $65,000 - $110,000 per year.
