Job summary

The Kincaid Group is seeking a skilled DAS technician to join our team in Liberty, MO. The ideal candidate will hold an active FCC GROL license and bring 2–3 years of hands-on DAS experience, including public safety or cellular DAS systems, with familiarity of major BDA brands.

Proficiency with fiber scopes, spectrum analyzers, line sweep tools, and lift machinery is essential. A valid license and clean driving record are required; lift certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Active FCC GROL certification required for programming and commissioning.
• 2–3 years hands-on experience with public safety DAS or cellular DAS.
• Familiarity with major active/passive BDA brands such as Westell, Comba, Honeywell, ADRF.
• Proficiency with fiber scopes, cable strip tools, spectrum analyzers, line sweep equipment and lift machinery.
• Scissor/Boom lift operator certification is highly preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Strong understanding of NFPA 72, NFPA 1221 and IFC 510 codes.

Required Education, Experience & Abilities Technical Requirements

• Certification: Active FCC GROL (General Radiotelephone Operator License) required for programming and commissioning.
• Experience: Minimum 2–3 years of hands‑on experience with public safety DAS or cellular DAS.
• Hardware Knowledge: Familiarity with major active/passive BDA brands such as Westell, Comba, Honeywell, and ADRF
• Tools: Proficiency with fiber scopes, cable strip tools, spectrum analyzers, line sweep equipment, and lift machinery.
• Lift Certification: Scissor/Boom lift operator certification is highly preferred.
