Job summary

Darien Family Dental Care in Darien, CT seeks a dedicated Dental Hygienist (RDH) to join a patient-focused team. The role offers Full-Time and Per Diem options with flexible scheduling and a supportive clinical environment.

You will provide preventive and periodontal care, educate patients about oral health, maintain accurate records, and collaborate with doctors to ensure an exceptional patient experience. CT RDH license and CPR are required.

About The Position

As a Dental Hygienist, you will play an important role in providing preventive and periodontal care while helping patients understand the importance of maintaining their oral health.

You will work closely with doctors and the clinical team to provide high-quality, patient-centered care while contributing to a positive and professional office environment.

Requirements

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to follow outlined policies, procedures, and clinical guidelines.
• Professional and positive attitude.
• Associate's degree from an accredited dental hygiene program.
• Valid Connecticut license to practice as a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH).
• Current CPR certification required.
• Ability to work effectively and collaboratively within a team environment.
• Passion for patient care and oral health education.
• Available to work within the office's current operating hours; specific shifts to be determined.

Preferred Qualities

• Previous dental office experience.
• Experience with Dentrix Ascend software.
• Experience with periodontal therapy and preventive care.
