Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services is seeking engineers to develop and maintain data acquisition software for Life Test SOPs and early prototype test boards. You will work across LabVIEW and Python, with a strategic focus on converting legacy LabVIEW-based tools to Python and supporting reliability testing software.

Engineers will interface with DAQ hardware to automate data collection, validate software in lab environments, and produce comprehensive documentation for projects and architectures.

Qualifications

• Experience with LabVIEW and Python for data acquisition software.
• Proficient in LabVIEW to Python migration and automation.
• Experience with hardware validation and test systems.
• Familiarity with version control systems (Git, SVN).
• Exposure to CI/CD workflows for test automation (nice to have).

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain data acquisition software for Life Test SOPs and prototype test boards.
• Convert legacy LabVIEW tools to Python.
• Support existing display life test software for reliability testing.
• Adapt and modify display measurement station software for reliability testing.
• Interface with DAQ hardware to automate data collection from life test fixtures.
• Validate, debug, and troubleshoot software in lab environments with reliability hardware.
• Write and maintain technical documentation for software tools and configurations.
• Collaborate with hardware and test engineering to align software with evolving requirements.
• Regular collaboration with hardware teams and lab equipment.
