Job summary

A community-focused dance studio located in Pleasant Hill is expanding and seeks experienced Dance Teachers. Ideal candidates should have expertise in Acro/tumbling, cheer, hip hop, and jazz, with certification in Acro/tumbling. Experience in aerial arts such as silks or lyra is a plus. Compensation is set at $30 per 45-minute class, with classes available predominantly on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday evenings.

Job description

Starlight Performing Arts Center, located in Downtown Pleasant Hill, is expanding! We are looking for experienced Dance Teachers, specifically teachers who have experience teaching Acro/tumbling, cheer, hip hop, and jazz. You don’t have to have experience with all the dance types listed, but must be Acro/tumbling certified or have equivalent years of teaching/training. Bonus points if you are also aerial certified and/or have experience teaching aerial, specifically silks or lyra! Ideally you are comfortable teaching beginners through advanced.

Compensation: $30 per 45 minute class.

Ideal Schedule (but please still apply if you aren’t available for all times/there will be future opportunities for different schedules):

• 5:45-9:00 PM Wednesday
• 4:00-8:15 PM Thursday (Most immediately needed!)
• 3:30-6:00 PM Friday
