Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience with middle school-aged youth and love of children/youth.
• Commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and culturally responsive practices.
• Strong organizational, communication, and relationship-building skills with students, caregivers and the community.

Responsibilities

• Design and coordinate dance experiences that engage a diverse population of middle school students.
• Develop opportunities for students to explore movement, creativity, self-expression, and performance in a supportive environment.
• Create pathways for participation that are accessible to students of all skill levels and backgrounds.
• Encourage involvement from students who may not traditionally participate in athletics, music, theater, or competitive dance programs.
• Foster a sense of belonging, confidence, leadership, and collaboration through dance experiences.
