Job summary

CENTER FOR THE ARTS BONITA SPRINGS DBA Arts Bonita seeks a passionate Dance Instructor to join their Education Department. This role involves teaching diverse dance classes for children, teens, and adults, with immediate opportunities in Summer Camp and year-round programming.

Instructors will lead workshops, collaborate to enhance dance offerings, and foster creativity in a welcoming environment. Previous teaching experience and professional dance training are required. Flexible scheduling and competitive compensation are offered to candidates who wish to grow within a dynamic community arts organization.

Qualifications

• Previous teaching experience required.
• Professional dance training and/or performance experience.

• Background screening may be required for instructors working with youth.

Arts Bonita is seeking passionate, energetic, and engaging Dance Instructors to join our growing Education Department. We are expanding our dance programming and are looking for talented educators who are excited to teach students of all ages while helping us build one of Southwest Florida's premier community arts education programs.

This is an outstanding opportunity for instructors who enjoy a variety of teaching experiences—from children's summer camps and after-school programs to adult classes and educational outreach in local schools.

Immediate teaching opportunities are available for Summer Camp, with additional Fall classes and year-round programming beginning soon.

What You'll Do

• Teach engaging dance classes for children, teens, and adults
• Lead specialty workshops and master classes
• Teach in Arts Bonita's Summer Camp programs
• Participate in educational outreach programs in local schools
• Develop and introduce new classes based on your expertise
• Choreograph student performances and showcases when appropriate
• Foster a welcoming, inclusive, and encouraging learning environment
• Inspire students of all skill levels while promoting creativity, confidence, and artistic growth
• Collaborate with fellow instructors and Arts Bonita staff to expand and strengthen our dance offerings
