Job summary

Dance Connection in Islip and Bay Shore is seeking dance teachers for the Summer 2025 season (July 22–August 14) and the 2025-2026 season (Sept 2025–June 2026). We welcome teachers across Toddler through Adult classes, including Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop, Pointe, Contemporary, Acro, and Performance/Competition.

Most classes run weekday evenings and some Saturdays. Candidates should love teaching children and teens, have extensive teaching experience, strong classroom management, clear

• Love of teaching children and teens; dedication to arts education.
• Extensive experience as a dance teacher.
• Effective classroom management for students and assistants.
• Written and verbal communication skills.
• Professional, organized, proactive, and friendly attitude.
• Ability to utilize the internet and email.
• Exclusivity from other studios within a 10-mile radius unless approved.
• A high school diploma or GED is required.
• A BA/BFA in Dance is a plus, but not required.
