Starting immediately, you will engage in professional development and self-discovery through the Hyde process of journaling, discussions, workshops, and seminars.

The ideal candidate holds a NYS Certification, a Bachelor's (Master’s preferred), and has success in urban education with strong data tracking, communication, and collaboration

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Master’s degree in Education or relevant content area (preferred).
  • New York State Certification.
  • Demonstrated success working in an urban school setting.
  • Strong data tracking and analysis skills.
  • Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with colleagues, families, and students.
  • Belief that everyone is gifted with a unique potential.
  • Commitment to character development and family partnerships.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure high academic standards are set for and met by all students.
  • Execute a rigorous standards-based curriculum through collaboration.
  • Differentiate curriculum and instruction.
  • Use student performance data derived from teacher-created and standardized assessments to drive instructional decision-making.
  • Design and implement high-quality lesson plans that effectively describe student strengths and needs with clear learning goals and performance criteria.
