Job summary

Journey Dance Competition Tour is seeking Judges who bring knowledge and experience to assess dancers of all ages and levels. Judges deliver constructive critiques with energy, using clear dance terminology, and remain engaged for up to five hours per session.

This seasonal role runs January through July with mandatory virtual team training and in-person training, plus travel from a meeting point to event cities. Experience as a Dance Educator is required; judging experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Seasonal employment with Journey Dance Competition Tour January–July.
• Must be 18 or older and able to travel by road or air.
• Strong communication using proper dance terminology.

Responsibilities

• Assess, critique, educate, and encourage dancers and choreographers.
• Record verbal critiques for every routine.
• Remain engaged and professional from first to last routine.
• Attend to duties assigned by the Event Director.
