Job summary

BBA Afterschool Inc in Chicago is seeking an enthusiastic, creative, and dependable After-School Dance & Cheer Instructor to lead engaging dance-focused enrichment programs for elementary students.

This part-time, after-school role runs 3:30 PM–5:00 PM, 1.5-hour sessions, in-person at Chicago location. Curriculum and materials are provided; no lesson planning required; compensation is $45 per session ($30/hour).

Qualifications

• Dance, choreography, cheer, gymnastics, or movement experience preferred but not required.
• Experience working with children is a plus.
• Must successfully complete the required background check process.

Responsibilities

BBA Afterschool Inc. is hiring an enthusiastic, creative, and dependable After-School Dance & Cheer Instructor to lead engaging dance-focused enrichment programs with cheer activities for elementary-aged students in Chicago, IL.

The program is primarily focused on dance, with cheer incorporated into activities. We are looking for someone who enjoys teaching movement, rhythm, choreography, coordination, and performance while creating a fun and positive environment for children.

Part-time, after-school position

Schedule: 3:30 PM – 5:00 PM

1.5-hour sessions

$45 per session ($30 per hour)

Monday through Friday

No lesson planning required

Curriculum and materials provided

In-person position in Chicago

Program Focus

Students will explore:

Dance fundamentals

Basic choreography

Rhythm and musicality

Movement and coordination

Responsibilities
