Job summary

ONEOK is seeking a Damage Prevention Specialist to join our One Call team. You will help protect pipeline assets by screening locate tickets and collaborating with Operations, GIS, and field personnel to ensure safety and reliability.

You will work with modern mapping and ticket-management tools, including GIS and Excel, to review tickets, respond to landowner inquiries, and support state and federal inspections. Strong communicator needed.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Dispatch emergency One Call tickets and notify Operations.
  • Maintain system accuracy amid changes in personnel or workflows.
  • Research excavation activity using State One Call, GIS, and ticketing tools.
  • Generate productivity and compliance reports via Irth, GIS, and Spotfire.
  • Assist training for Operations on One Call compliance.
  • Prepare documentation for state and federal inspections.
  • Retrieve historical records for audits and documentation.

JOB SUMMARY We are looking for a reliable, detail driven Damage Prevention Specialist to join our One Call team. In this pivotal role, you will help protect pipeline assets by accurately screening One Call tickets and collaborating closely with Operations, GIS, and field personnel. Essential Functions and Responsibilities

Review and screen One Call locate requests to determine potential impacts to company assets.

Contact excavators regarding dig site location details.

Interpret GIS mapping layers (centerline, operational areas, business units etc.) using the Ticket Management System and/or the GIS Portal.

Support and optimize Ticket Management System configuration, helping streamline processes and improve efficiency.

Dispatch emergency One Call tickets and promptly notify Operations during business hours.

Maintain system accuracy by updating configurations as personnel, organizational structures, or workflows change.

Research excavation activity using State One Call systems, GIS, and ticketing tools to assist Operations and respond to landowner inquiries.

Generate and distribute productivity and compliance reports using platforms such as the Irth Ticket Management System, GIS, and Spotfire.

Assist with training efforts for Operations personnel as part of One Call compliance initiatives.

Prepare documentation to support state and federal inspections related to One Call regulations.

Retrieve historical records to support regulatory audits and internal documentation needs.

Education

Work Experience

Knowledge of pipeline operations, facility locating, or One Call programs. Experience communicating with internal and external stakeholders.

Experienced with backend system configuration, data organization, or procedural documentation (a strong plus).
