Ideal candidates have a B.S. in Civil/Construction/Geological Engineering and up to five years of relevant experience in heavy civil or water resources construction.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Civil, Construction, or Geological Engineering required.
• 0–5 years of progressive construction experience.
• Knowledge of drawings, specifications, and construction techniques.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Team-oriented with ability to collaborate.
• Willingness to travel/relocate to project sites.

Responsibilities

• Lead field engineering activities on construction projects interfacing with contractor, owner, and RJH staff.
• Perform construction observations and inspections; respond to RFIs and document activities.
• Develop engineer directives and track work progress; direct quality assurance activities.
• When not in the field, perform civil design tasks for dams and water resources projects.
