The ideal candidate will be a CA-licensed PE with 20+ years of experience and strong communication with owners and contractors. Travel and collaboration across Schnabel offices are required.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Civil Engineering from ABET-accredited program.
• 20+ years of structural engineering experience in dams and heavy civil projects.
• Licensed Professional Engineer in California.
• Experience with structural analysis, drawings, specs, and QA.

Responsibilities

• Lead structural engineering design for dams, hydraulic structures, and heavy civil projects.
• Perform analyses and prepare detailed calculations for complex structures.
• Review work of team members and ensure design compliance with codes.
• Mentor junior engineers and coordinate with owners, contractors, and designers.
