Job summary

Walmart is seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager to drive delivery of our software and embedded systems initiatives at the Dallas, TX area. You will oversee operations platforms, manage engineering teams, and ensure milestones are met with high quality.

The role requires extensive experience in program management across SW/HW, strong leadership, and excellent communication with engineers, product managers, and executives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related area and 3 years’ experience in project management, program management, or related area.
• Alternatively, 5 years’ experience in project management, program management, or related area.
• Excellent ability to work in a fast-paced, multifaceted environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage delivery of the software development process and define the product roadmap.
• Lead engineering teams to ensure milestones and deadlines are met.
• Lead engineering teams to deliver products and solutions for embedded systems.
• Provide strong leadership to the program team to deliver projects on time and with high quality.
• Plan program-level activities and drive cross-project execution with accurate status reporting.
• Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies and processes.
• Engage with leadership and engineering teams to drive decisions.
• Monitor roadmap, identify obstacles and release delays.
