Job summary

Albertsons Companies is seeking a Dairy Supervisor to oversee daily Dairy Department operations, lead a team, and ensure outstanding customer service, product freshness, and accurate merchandising. You will maintain stock, manage inventory, and uphold safety standards in a fast-paced retail setting.

Responsibilities include staff coaching, scheduling, and implementing company policies while driving department sales and profitability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous grocery, dairy, or retail experience required.
• Supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
• Knowledge of inventory management, merchandising, and food safety practices.
• Strong communication, organization, and customer service skills.

• Monitor inventory levels to reduce out-of-stocks and excess inventory.
• Support shrink reduction initiatives through proper rotation and inventory management.
• Maintain accurate inventory practices and department records.

Position Purpose

The Dairy Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Dairy Department to ensure exceptional customer service, product quality, inventory accuracy, and execution of merchandising standards. Key Responsibilities

Department Operations

• Ability to safely operate pallet jacks, carts, ladders, and other department equipment.

Work Environment
