Job summary

Borden Dairy Company is hiring a delivery driver to load, transport, and deliver products to customer accounts on a defined route. You will set up displays, verify shipments, and resolve discrepancies, all while maintaining a professional demeanor and adhering to DOT regulations.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to lift heavy loads, work overtime, and operate in fast-paced environments.

Qualifications

• Must have strong communication and listening skills.
• Able to read, write, and record data accurately.
• Experience in driving and delivering products is a plus.
• Must be able to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as required.

Responsibilities

• Safely load, unload, and deliver products to customer accounts.
• Drive a commercial vehicle along an established route to deliver, stock, and stage products.
• Set up merchandise displays and deliver promotional materials to customers.
• Verify shipment accuracy and ensure products are in salable condition.
• Address and resolve discrepancies and customer complaints professionally.
• Complete daily inventory, delivery invoices, and proof of delivery documentation.
• Conduct DOT-compliant vehicle inspections and assist with routine truck maintenance.
• Maintain professional appearance and courteous demeanor with customers and coworkers.
• Accurately maintain vehicle logs and hours-of-service records.
• Demonstrate reliable attendance and consistent work hours.
