Job summary

Red Stag LLC is seeking dedicated full-time Class A CDL Liquid Dairy Drivers to join our team in New York. This role involves safely transporting liquid dairy bulk products to processing plants across the region, with live unloads and close coordination with dispatch to ensure timely service.

Qualified candidates will have a valid Class A CDL with Tanker endorsement, at least 23 years old, and 2+ years of commercial driving experience, including liquid tanker hauling.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with Tanker Endorsement.
• Must be at least 23 years old.
• Minimum of 2 years of commercial driving experience.
• Minimum of 1 year of liquid tanker hauling experience.
• Food-grade or other liquid hauling experience is transferable.
• 4+ years of dairy industry experience preferred.
• Must obtain and maintain required milk handler certification.
• Valid DOT Medical Card and ability to meet applicable driver qualification requirements.
• Experience using Electronic Logging Devices (ELDs) and maintaining Hours of Service records.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to safely drop and hook trailers.
• Ability to climb ladders to inspect trailer seals.
• Strong communication, navigation, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport liquid dairy bulk products to processing plants throughout the regional New York area.
• Safely load and unload liquid dairy products using proper equipment and procedures.
• Complete assigned loads safely and on schedule.
• Communicate regularly with dispatch regarding routes, load status, delays, and other issues.
• Perform required pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report equipment concerns.
• Follow all food safety and handling procedures to protect product quality and safety.
• Complete required paperwork and maintain accurate pickup and delivery records.
• Represent Red Stag while interacting with customers, dairy partners, and processing facilities.
• Follow all applicable federal and state transportation, safety, and dairy regulations.
• Properly drop and hook trailers as required.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
