Grande Cheese Company is hiring at our brand-new, state-of-the-art facility in Chilton for a Production Operator. You will operate and maintain intake and dairy equipment in alignment with Grande's Operational Excellence principles, focusing on quality, safety, and teamwork.

We seek individuals with lean manufacturing understanding and a commitment to continuous improvement, with growth opportunities as Grande expands its dairy manufacturing capabilities.

Qualifications

• High School or GED.
• 1-4 years of advanced manufacturing experience.
• Ability to operate and troubleshoot dairy intake equipment.
• Basic understanding of mechanical and control systems related to processing equipment.
• Proficient in using computer systems for data entry and equipment monitoring.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced start-up environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to follow standard work, maintain a safe work environment, and address deviations.

Responsibilities

• Monitor equipment for optimal performance and quality.
• Conduct quality inspections and tests, troubleshoot issues.
• Support lean initiatives such as 5S, Kaizen, and TPM.
• Maintain accurate records and adhere to regulatory standards (FDA, OSHA, USDA).
• Collaborate cross-functionally to drive operational excellence in a startup setting.
• Perform ongoing data entry and equipment monitoring as required.
