Job summary

Meijer, a family-focused retailer, seeks a production manager in Tipp City, Ohio to lead daily production, safety and quality initiatives. You will plan, coach staff, and ensure GMP adherence while driving cost and process improvements.

Seeking a candidate with a Bachelor's or higher and 3+ years of leadership or production management experience; strong analytical and communication skills are essential. This on-site role offers growth within a multi-state operation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred with focus in relevant field.
• 3+ years of leadership and/or production management experience.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Interview, hire, lead and supervise manufacturing plant team members.
• Independently plan and coordinate work to meet daily production goals.
• Train, coach and lead teams to achieve performance, quality, cost, service and safety goals.
• Ensure our teams operate manufacturing equipment safely and efficiently.
• Record and deliver coaching and disciplinary actions as necessary.
• Use appropriate reporting to evaluate results for expected improvements.
• Work closely with team members to improve plant KPIs and operational metrics.
• Maintain the quality of production and adherence to GMP policies.
