Job summary

Idaho Milk Products is seeking a Dryer Operator to join the production team on the night shift. You will operate and maintain drying equipment to convert liquid milk into powder, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency.

Responsibilities include pre-op checks, following SOPs, sampling, logs, CIP, and supporting the Production Supervisor. Strong communication and teamwork are essential; prior production experience is favored.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent work-related experience.

Responsibilities

• Pre-operational checks on all equipment before starting a process.
• Check components of raw materials and finished product in accordance with SOPs.
• Review department and system performances daily; suggest improvements to quality or process.
• Follow published SSOPs for equipment and processes.
• Collect all samples in accordance with SOPs.
• Complete production and sanitation log sheets accurately and promptly.
• Operate equipment per SOPs and document outputs.
• Monitor chemical additions and consumption; inform supervisor of issues.
• Verify CIP system performance and support the Dry Floor program.
• Arrive on time and ready to operate the business.
• Operate and clean equipment per production plan.
• Suggest improvements to SOPs, SSOPs, and sanitation programs.
• Comply with OSHA and plant safety regulations.
• Communicate safety concerns to supervisor.
• Participate as a team member and support shift operations.

Education
