Job summary

Leprino Foods is seeking Utility Technicians for our Roswell, NM facility. The role includes maintaining steam, HVAC, water treatment, and fire systems, while adhering to GMP and safety protocols. You will work rotating shifts, including nights, and be prepared for a 24/7 operation with weekend availability.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, the ability to lift up to 55 lbs, and the use of PPE. Training will be provided and a supportive team environment awaits.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED.
• Must be willing to work nights, days, holidays, weekends and rotating shifts.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs, climb stairs, vertical ladders and inclined ladders, work with arms extended, and in varying temperatures.
• Must differentiate colors and smells.
• Must wear PPE and work in confined spaces.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance and operation of steam generation, refrigeration, compressed air systems, water treatment, fire systems and HVAC.
• Comply with regulatory agencies (PSM, NMDA, EPA, OSHA, NMED, SQF).
• Attend training sessions onsite or traveling within the U.S.
• Comply with Good Manufacturing Practices and housekeeping.
• Perform basic mathematical functions and read procedures.
• Communicate effectively between production, maintenance and management.
• Troubleshoot equipment and solve problems.
• Work in high noise areas and extreme temperatures.
• Be available to work weekends and holidays.
