Qualifications

• 2 to 4 years of manufacturing/production experience, preferably in the dairy or consumer goods industry.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Able to follow directions and work effectively in a team.
• Must be able to read, write and speak English.
• Certification and/or License – may be required during course of employment.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of line duties within the manufacturing environment, including senior-level processing and machine operation.
• Review process and equipment performance data to improve quality and throughput.
• Assist with training in functional areas as needed.
• Review charts, screens, quality check sheets and specifications in hard copy and electronic format.
• Engage in problem solving to improve production, safety, quality and yields.
• Ensure operational efficiencies by setting up jobs and operating equipment.
• Perform quality monitoring of statistical information and report on variations to supervision.
