Job summary

Lactalis American Group in Buffalo, NY is seeking a Building & Grounds Mechanic to maintain facilities, repair plumbing, painting, and grounds, and to support GMP and safety programs.

You will perform duties such as pipe insulation, roofing, floor repairs with epoxy, snow removal, and general maintenance, while coordinating with the Maintenance Manager. Valid driver’s license required. This role offers growth within a global dairy leader and a comprehensive rewards program.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Industrial building and grounds experience preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License required.

Responsibilities

• All aspects of building and grounds maintenance.
• Pipe insulation, plumbing, painting, floor repairs, and roof repairs.
• Grounds upkeep, snow removal in winter, shrubbery trimming, lawn mowing.
• Follow GMPs and Plant Safety Programs; advise on changes as needed.
• Attend departmental meetings and support safety requirements.
