Adams Hometown Markets in Canterbury, CT is seeking a Dairy/Frozen Clerk to stock and organize the dairy and frozen aisles and to assist customers with locating products and prices.

Responsibilities include rotating stock, maintaining cleanliness, labeling items, and communicating with leadership about inventory and issues. This part-time role requires lifting up to 85 lbs and working 20–25 hours weekly, including weekdays, evenings and weekends.

Formación

• Zero to 1 year retail/grocery experience preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 85 lbs and stand/walk for long periods.
• Open availability: weekdays, evenings and weekends.

Responsabilidades

• Unload deliveries and stock shelves per store plan.
• Rotate products (FIFO) to sell older items first.
• Monitor inventory and restock shelves for customer needs.
• Remove damaged or expired items to maintain quality.
• Maintain clean and sanitized produce displays.
• Assist customers with locating products and prices.
• Address inquiries and escalate to leadership as needed.
• Ensure accurate pricing and labeling of items.
• Communicate inventory and sales issues to management.
• Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.
