Job summary

Ridleys-Family-Markets-Inc is seeking a stocker to support store operations on site. You will promote customer relations, maintain accurate shelves, and assist with inventory control while adhering to safety and company policies.

The role requires forklift/pallet jack operation certification and a high school diploma or GED or equivalent experience. 18+ years old, strong communication, teamwork, and reliability are essential for daily duties.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED; or related job experience and/or training are preferred.
• Ability to write, speak, hear, and understand the spoken word to respond promptly to pages, requests, team members and guests.
• Basic computer skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Exhibit and develop maximum customer relations through friendly and courteous behavior.
• Promote a high level of morale within department and store, utilizing friendly but professional methods of honest and open communication.
• Maintain good working relationships with other department managers with the objective of improving sales storewide.
• At all times remember that our success will be dependent upon our ability to work together.
• Comply with all company policies, programs and directives as specified in the Code of Conduct.
• Provide a professional example for other store team members to follow.
• Pays proper attention to: Effective inventory control to guard against spoilage and out-dated product, proper stock rotations, and eye-appealing displays that are full and faced.
• Help Maintain adequate and appropriate department records at all times
• Stays aware of the surrounding competitive market and promptly reacts to product and price concerns.
• Provides a professional example for other team members to follow
