Job summary

Meijer Inc. in Illinois is seeking a Food Clerk to deliver exceptional customer service in our Fresh departments, using product knowledge to help shoppers and maintain inviting displays.

You will stock, rotate, and merchandise, follow food safety procedures, and work across Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce and Grocery to keep the store running smoothly. No prior experience required, but teamwork and physical stamina help.

Qualifications

• Customer-first mindset and strong listening skills.
• Ability to communicate clearly with customers and teammates.
• Attention to detail to maintain appealing displays and accurate stock.
• Must be physically active with ability to lift and stand for long periods.
• No advanced experience required; retail or food service experience is helpful but not required.
