Albertsons Companies in Virginia is seeking a Dairy Department Supervisor to lead day-to-day operations, coach staff, and ensure customer satisfaction. You will oversee ordering, stocking, displays, inventory, and training to maintain high service standards.

The role requires strong communication and leadership, the ability to manage merchandise, and adherence to safety and quality guidelines in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Requires strong written and oral communication skills.
• Must be friendly, courteous, and maintain composure with customers, co-workers and vendors.
• Ability to judge and react to business activity and handle merchandising needs.
• Knowledge of basic mathematics and inventory control procedures.

Responsabilités

• Assist the Grocery Manager in directing Dairy Department operations.
• Order, receive, stock, inventory, and build displays.
• Provide enthusiastic customer service and apply suggestive selling.
• Plan regular and seasonal merchandise requirements and special sales needs.
• Rotate, face, and clean displays; manage backroom inventory and pricing accuracy.
• Assist with back-up cashier duties and new item introductions.
