Job summary

ShopRite of Milford is seeking a Dairy Clerk to deliver a great customer experience while pricing, stocking and rotating merchandise in the Dairy Department. The role requires maintaining a neat, clean, and visually appealing department and performing tasks efficiently and safely per company policy.

Key duties include greeting customers, assisting the Dairy Manager, pricing items, stocking and rotating stock, and ensuring accurate labeling and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, speak, analyze, and understand English.
• Ability to perform basic math.
• Ability to stand/walk for the duration of a scheduled shift.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs. and occasionally 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, neat, organized and safe work environment.
• Clean and sanitize all surfaces and equipment according to standards.
• Keep floor free of debris and spills.
• Stand and move for the duration of the shift, lifting weights as needed.
• Unload trucks and transport merchandise to Dairy Department.
• Greet Customers and provide prompt, courteous service and assistance.
• Price items accurately and legibly using approved devices.
• Ensure featured sale merchandise is attractively signed to stimulate sales.
