Qualifications

• Must be able to solve practical problems with limited standardization.

Responsibilities

• Provides prompt, efficient and friendly customer service by exhibiting caring, concern and patience in all customer interactions and treating customers as the most important people in the store.
• Smiles and greets customers in a friendly manner, whether the encounter takes place in the department or elsewhere.
• Makes an effort to learn customers' names and address them by name when possible.
• Assists customers by escorting them to products, securing out-of-reach items, loading or unloading heavy items, and passing along suggestions.
• Answers the telephone promptly and provides friendly, helpful service to customers who call.
• Rotates and replenishes merchandise and maintains high quality standards.
• Unloads trucks and places product in storage areas.
• Faces merchandise and keeps the department clean.
• Builds end caps displays and fills through the week as needed.
• Orders products and supplies requested by the department manager.
• Maintains organized storage and safe, clean floors; ensures proper temperature control.
• Follows personal hygiene and dress guidelines and company policies.
• Reports to work as scheduled and on time.
