Job summary

Fiesta Mart in Conroe, TX is looking for a Dairy Deli Frozen Clerk for Store 081 Conroe. You will assist customers, stock and clean display cases, and rotate the self-serve displays in the Dairy Deli Frozen Department.

Ideal candidates are bilingual (Spanish/English), able to lift up to 60 pounds, and comfortable in a fast-paced grocery setting. PC/Outlook skills and a Retail Management Certificate are a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and write in Spanish and English.
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds occasionally.

Candidates should possess the ability to:

• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, product pricing codes, shelf tags, short correspondence, and memos.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Effectively present information in one‑on‑one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
• Apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 45 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 60 pounds.

The Opportunity

Under direct supervision, the Dairy Deli Frozen Clerk will provide friendly, courteous, and helpful service. The position involves assisting customers, cleaning display cases, and cleaning shelves, as well as cleaning, filling and rotating the self‑serve displays within the Dairy Deli Frozen Department.

Work in a fast‑paced grocery store environment. Essential functions include physical requirements such as lifting, standing, walking and kneeling, as well as visual and auditory requirements.
