Job summary

Hy-Vee is seeking a Dairy Clerk to rotate and replenish merchandise in the Dairy Department and provide courteous, friendly, and efficient service. You will greet customers, assist with finding items, and help maintain clean, organized displays throughout shifts, including nights and weekends.

The role emphasizes fast-paced, customer-focused work with adherence to store guidelines, daily inventories, and proper handling of products to ensure quality standards are met.

Qualifications

• Must be able to perform medium work up to 50 pounds frequently and up to 10 pounds constantly.
• Must have ability to understand and follow verbal or demonstrated instructions.
• Education required: Less than high school or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, efficient and friendly customer service.
• Smile and greet customers in a friendly manner and address them by name when possible.
• Assist customers by guiding them to products and loading or unloading items as needed.
• Rotate and replenish merchandise and maintain department cleanliness and organization.
• Unload trucks and ensure proper storage; build end caps and display products.
• Adhere to store policies and report to work as scheduled.
