Job summary

ShopRite of Clinton is seeking a Dairy Clerk to maintain a neat and stocked Dairy Department and provide exceptional customer service. Responsibilities include pricing, stocking, rotating merchandise, and supporting daily store operations in a fast-paced environment.

Qualified applicants must be able to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally, stand for long periods, and work in varying temperatures while upholding safety and QA standards. This is a full-time, non-union role.

Qualifications

• Proficient reading, writing and speaking English.
• Ability to perform basic math.
• Ability to stand/walk for full shifts.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and occasionally 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures.
• Ability to interact with customers in a friendly manner.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, neat and safe work area in the dairy department.
• Price, stock and rotate merchandise in the department.
• Assist customers and provide prompt, courteous service.
• Ensure accurate labeling, pricing and shelf presentation.
• Unload trucks and transport merchandise to the dairy area.
• Follow safety, sanitation and QA standards at all times.
