Job summary

PET Dairy, a DFA brand, seeks a bagger/debagger to operate and maintain packaging equipment, bag and debag products, and ensure production flow under GMP guidelines. The role requires careful handling, quality checks, and accurate documentation to meet daily deadlines.

The 2nd shift (2pm–finish, Mon–Fri, some Saturdays) offers $20/hour plus benefits, with opportunities for growth within DFA's farmer-owned network. Prior experience is welcome but not required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Operate bagging and debagging equipment and maintain flow of production.
• Handle products carefully to avoid damage during the bagging and debagging process.
• Monitor the process to ensure quality, including proper sealing and labeling.
• Inspect products for flaws or impurities.
• Remove defective bottles from the line for recycling.
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment and cleaning.
• Maintain communication with other departments and management.
• Document information in SOPs and forms as required.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes.
• Report food safety and quality issues to management.
• Maintain safe working conditions and comply with GMP.
