Job summary

Meijer Inc. in Ohio is hiring a Food Clerk at 4 AM to deliver friendly service, share product knowledge, and maintain fresh, well‑stocked displays across Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce and Grocery.

You will build strong customer connections, learn store technology, follow safety procedures, and support other tasks to keep operations running smoothly for our customers and communities.

Qualifications

• Must demonstrate a friendly, customer-first mindset.
• Strong listening and communication skills.
• Comfort learning and using store technology and systems.
• Attention to detail and ability to stay organized.

This 4 AM position is responsible for delivering remarkable customer service by providing customers with exceptional product knowledge, efficient service and a friendly attitude; will be exposed to a variety of retail tasks related to product, customer service and merchandising and stocking product.

As a Food Clerk, you play a key role in creating a fresh, welcoming, and well‑run store experience within our Fresh departments.
