Job summary

RAYUS Radiology in McKinney, TX, seeks a Scheduling Specialist to join our team. You will answer phones, schedule patient examinations, and verify insurance information, ensuring accurate data entry and smooth communication with patients and referring offices.

This is a full-time, Monday–Friday role from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm with no weekends. Ideal candidates have medical terminology knowledge or clinical office experience and strong multi-tasking in a high-volume environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, or equivalent.
• Proficient with using computer systems and typing.
• Able to handle multi-level phone system with a high volume of calls at one time.
• One year customer service experience.
• Medical terminology and previous clinical business office experience.

Responsibilities

• Answers phones and handles calls in a professional and timely manner.
• Schedules patient examinations according to existing company policy.
• Ensures all appropriate personal, financial and insurance information is obtained and recorded accurately.
• Ensures patient data is entered into information systems completely and accurately.
• Communicates scheduling changes to technologists to ensure patient satisfaction.
