Sittercity.com is seeking a warm, responsible caregiver in Pasadena, MD to provide daily after-school care for a kindergartener from 2:30pm to 4:30/5pm, Monday to Friday. You will help transition from daycare, engage the child with crafts, reading, and activities, and prepare snacks. Occasional care on school closures may be required.

A pet-friendly, TV-free environment is preferred. The family has a well-behaved cat; driving to activities and bringing reliable transportation is expected.

Hi! We have a kindergartener who needs daily afterschool care, Monday - Friday starting at 2:30pm until about 4:30/5pm. If available, we would need assistance on days school is closed as well.Our daughter has not transitioned well to her new daycare center since starting kindergarten. Unfortunately, the change has led to very tearful mornings and anxiety. We're hoping to find someone who works well with a sensitive, sweet girl and can keep her entertained (and away from the tv) after school. Thankfully there's no real homework involved, yet ;) She loves to play, enjoys crafts, and reading books. You must be a snack connoisseur and be able to make an awesome charcuterie board (crackers, meat, and cheese)!We have an old cat who is very well-behaved and will likely sleep most of the time you are here.We look forward to meeting someone who can create a friendly environment for our child while keeping her safe and engaged.
