Overview

JOB DESCRIPTION The ERP Solution Delivery Manager will be part of the Enterprise Business Applications team, managing digital transformation projects in the areas of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and complementary applications such as Customer Engagement and Power Platform. The individual in this role will work with technology leaders, solution architects, software developers, business analysts, quality assurance, functional design, and other team members to manage project work to successful completion. This role is responsible for managing client discussions and overseeing client needs to build and maintain effective delivery while ensuring client expectations are managed.

Job Duties

• Maintains strategic relationships with client personnel, including members of client senior management
• Manages client expectations and communicates difficult messages when necessary to keep project delivery on course
• Identifies areas of risk on engagements and develops plans to manage those risks
• Manages the vision of the project solution
• Leads, oversees, and prepares updates to the project plan
• Maintains detailed work plans in Azure DevOps
• Prepares formal and informal presentations for client meetings
• Leads the project team daily, including BDO consultants and client team members, including scrums, planning, and status meetings
• Provides guidance to the project change plan, including identification of new scope and preparation of change orders
• Provides project leadership for assessment, implementation, and optimization engagements
• Works with Project Manager to ensure BDO’s project governance framework is applied and governance documentation is maintained and stored according to quality standards
• Delivers timely project communications to the client, including regular status reports and steering committee presentations
• Ensures the BDO Project Team follows the BDO Implementation Methodology and produces deliverables to standards and on schedule
• Participates in ongoing refinement of BDO Project Governance, Implementation Methodology, contracts and templates; mentors colleagues and provides guidance and support
• Other duties as required

Supervisory Responsibilities

• Owns and drives completion of key workstreams by associates and senior associates as directed by project leaders
• Manages project workstreams of associates and senior associates as directed
• Mentors and develops entry level consultants and senior consultants
• May act as Career Advisor to associates and senior associates

Education and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and six (6) or more years of ERP solution delivery management experience, required; OR
• High School Diploma/GED and seven (7) or more years of ERP solution delivery management experience, required

Experience

• Six (6) or more years of ERP solution delivery management experience including budgeting, risk, resources, scope, issues, changes, and quality management
• Experience with project planning, scoping and management
• Experience with business process analysis and design and process flow
• Experience in planning, managing scope, timeline, or budget
• Client-facing consulting experience, preferred
• Track record of managing projects within a software solutions deployment environment, preferred

License and Certifications

• PMP, preferred

Software

• Experience with one or more of the following solutions, required: HCM; Custom Applications; Data analytics; ERP (Dynamics 365 F&O, Business Central, CE); NetSuite; CRM; Cybersecurity
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, required
• MS Project, preferred
• Azure DevOps experience, preferred
• Microsoft Project experience, preferred
• Smartsheet experience, preferred
